Optica Toscana, Madrid

A flying visit to Madrid today to see two people who influence optics worldwide.

n

La Espejuelos is a fantastic English/Spanish blog and Miguel and Nuria write with knowledge, passion and authority. A great place to discover the latest in eyewear.

n

Their photography is beautiful too. Miguel wears Owen in Blue.inline_11_//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0614/7625/files/IMG_4430RRR-1024x651_large.jpg?v=1476986809

I spent the afternoon with Antonio and his team at Optica Toscana.

n

Antonio and Mamen celebrate twenty five years at the cutting edge of optics and they continue to lead the way. With two stores in Madrid, one in Barcelona and a fourth in Majorca, they are a reference for independent opticians worldwide.inline_527_//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0614/7625/files/IMG_8165_large.JPG?v=1476987111inline_461_//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0614/7625/files/IMG_8166_large.JPG?v=1476987157

n

The original store on Calle de Hortaleza was a pharmacy before they took it over and the interior retains many of the original features.

Antonio wears Victor in Emerald while Isabel wears Victor in dusk.inline_775_//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0614/7625/files/IMG_8174_large.JPG?v=1476987686
