Frame Feature – Meet Marilyn
How do you know which frame is going to suit you?
Under normal circumstances you would visit your optician to get expert advice but with today’s lockdowns and restrictions you might find yourself shopping for eyewear from the comfort of your sofa.
The Kirk & Kirk approach to eyewear design is unique. Our acrylic material means that we can create chunky frames that weigh almost nothing so, as well as looking good, they have practical benefits.
A well-adjusted, light weight frame is very comfortable to wear, especially if you have a strong prescription, and some frames are really well adapted to this.
Meet Marilyn – despite her bold, confident presence, Marilyn has an upsweep that suits a petite face and a narrow pupil distance. Those of you with delicate features will know how hard it is to find great frames for small faces. Marilyn could be the answer to your prayers. The lens size is small at 46mm so, if you have a strong prescription, she could be the ideal frame for you.
There are other frames within the Kaleidoscope and Centena collections for smaller faces and not just for women. Check out Frank which comes in nine colours and offers a great unisex style or Lez which is a gentle cat-eye.
Don’t take our word for it. Always get the advice of an independent optician. You should have regular eye tests and your optician will guide you to frames that work well for your prescription.
Try our personal shopper service where you send us a photo and one of our design team can suggest some amazing eyewear that will work for you.
Kirk & Kirk frames are designed not only to look good but to work well with your lenses so please mail us if you have any questions.
