As I was flicking through The Sunday Times Style over the weekend I came across Toby Wiseman’s Style Counsel column:
n
Tim from Sherborne asks him; ‘My optician has told me I’m short-sighted, but I don’t want to spoil my looks with glasses. Should I have my eyes lasered?’
n
As you can imagine, the feature struck a chord. With all the inspiring eyewear available, why would someone choose surgery over so many optical opportunities?
n
Toby writes: ‘Glasses shouldn’t be viewed as an aid but as an accessory. I use them to play with identity. They are both armour and embellishment.’
n
We couldn’t agree more, and as campaigners for independent eyewear and self-expression through style we hope the Kirk & Kirk collection will inspire and excite anyone who slips on a pair.
