Tell us more the stores you are stocking Kirk & Kirk in.
We are stocking Kirk & Kirk in two of our stores, OSSIP Carmel– which was established in 2000 (16 years ago) and OSSIP Downtown– established 2005 (12 years ago).
How did you find out about Kirk & Kirk and what drew you to the brand?
We were first introduced to Kirk & Kirk when we saw the kaleidoscope of colours at Vision Expo. We looked again and saw people having fun and eyewear that literally made us stop in our tracks – it was then we knew there was a story to be told and that this was a unique product that would enhance our patient’s lifestyles. At OSSIP we provide our patients with iconic, unique and fashionable eyewear, and Kirk & Kirk delivers just this!
How does OSSIP stand out from other practices?
We are grateful for the relationships we’ve established over the years with our patients. This relationship is built on trust and a confidence in what we do. Our patients have supported us in our decision to work with independent and emerging eyewear designers like Kirk & Kirk. It’s through these strong and lasting relationships that we have been able to inspire our patients with the iconic eye wear that they wear and enjoy day to day.
What is the ideology or concept behind your store?
We are a third generation, family owned practice who have dedicated ourselves to providing a transformational eyecare experience to every patient, every time, for over 65 years. Our focus and dedication is to our patients and their families by providing them with exclusive access to a refined collection of designer eyewear that will simply help them see better, and enhance their lifestyles.
What is your favourite thing about working in this industry?
It’s contagious! We are a connected family who get to change people’s lives and have fun doing it. It doesn’t get much better than that!
Lastly, tell us a unique anecdote about the team or store.
Unique is our middle name. We are always looking for new ways to start the conversation and one year at OSSIP Broad Ripple, our flagship store, Dr. Ossip, being the conversationalist he is, threw pennies all over the floor completely covering it! It definitely got the conversation started and it’s been going strong ever since!
