Yesterday started with breakfast presentations and an opportunity to get eyewear onto the faces of people who know and care about style and quality.

Journalists from Esquire, Elle, Shortlist, Port, The Express and The Telegraph, amongst others, some of whom do not normally wear glasses, were soon enjoying the collections and selecting frames that they would test drive in Marrakech, with the help of Transitions lenses.

We left Les Deux Tours and went to la Maison Arabe for a cookery course where we baked our own bread in a clay oven and cooked a tagine for lunch. With our stomachs full and our eyes well-dressed we hopped across the city to Yves Saint Laurents old pad Le Jardin Majorelle.
