This is the result of months of work to create a multi-sensory experience around eyewear through a vehicle to express the emotion that glasses can evoke.
The action centres around the new Centena collection which is the first collection in the world to be hand-made, in France, from 10mm acrylic.
Great eyewear should make you not only look gorgeous but also feel amazing. However there is more to our collections than meets the eye;
Not colour but the emotions that colour creates.
Not acrylic but the sensation of comfort.
Not the last hundred years but the future that a hundred years inspires.
We are very proud to be celebrating three generations of the Kirk family in the optical world. From Sidney and Percy’s early foray into frame manufacture in 1919, through Neville Kirk’s retail optics from the 1950s through to Jason and Karen Kirk’s 25 year experience designing optical frames and sunglasses. It is this rich history which is feeding and inspiring the future of Kirk & Kirk eyewear.
It is also gives us great pleasure to thank a fourth generation, Eden Kirk, for his creative input into this project.
